Weather in Laguna CA - April 6th 2019??

Having a wedding in Laguna Ca April 6th 2019. WEATHER??? Later afternoon into the evening outdoors.

Laguna

Ya never know, April can be iffy in So Cal, even along the coastline. Though less chance of rain at the beach than if you were to get married further inland, I think.

Please lend your expertise

Can you help predict the weather forecast, especially for precipitation, in California's Capay Valley in late April/May 2019? Another outdoor wedding.

Having an outdoor wedding April 6th. What is the weather forecast? Please please please tell me dry!

Rainfall in April

Well, the old saying "April showers bring May flowers" is not so true for Northern California. I suggest you check online for the history of April rainfall, specifically in the North Bay but I wouldn't be at all surprised if you learn it's less than an inch. Having said all that if it turns out that 2019 is a rainy year it's pretty much stopped all together by April. Also, we're in the 5th year of a pretty bad drought. Great for outdoor weddings bad for farmers and ranchers. Especially when one considers the fact that California's agriculture feeds one quarter of the world's population!
I think you'll be fine. But in case it does turn out that it's going to rain the slightest amount for a very short time on the most important day of your life make sure you have plenty of tarps, stakes and rope/lines to rig up tents for you guests and food. Congratulations and the best of luck!

Rainfall in April revised response

Oh, for heavens sake LOL, I didn't realize it's in Pasadena! Sorry I went on and on about No Cal. Well, your guess is as good as mine re Pasadena. But I bet if you ask God to not let it rain that day, he'll be cool about it and not let it rain. But in case it does, I stand by my suggestion that you have make sure your wedding planner sets up enough tents. They can actually be very lovely if done right. Best of Luck!

San Jose CA Long Range Forecast 2018-2019

I firmly believe that from San Jose CA south we will see a drier and warmer than normal Winter/Spring as Fall will be warmer and drier than normal. My theory is if summer has been warm and with the major wildfires CA has had and with predictions of more fires for the Fall the warming from the fires and particles could lead to a higher chance of a drought.

I think that CA from San Jose south may be in for another long stretch of dry weather despite the El Nino forecast. The resilant ridge of High Pressure that was in effect during our last multi-year drought and the lack of sunspots may constitute for the Old Farmers Almanac to rethink their Long Range Forecast.

If we have a lot fo sunspots during an El NIno/La Nina Year think 1998 more flooding will occur due to the Pineapple Express.

Do you predecct above normal percipitation in the form of major Pineapple Expresses with mudslides along Highway 1?

Will San Jose CA be in for a drier than normal winter/spring for 2018-2019?
