April and May will be warmer and rainier than normal. Summer will have slightly above-normal temperatures, on average, with rainfall below normal in Tennessee and above normal elsewhere. The hottest periods will be in mid- to late June and mid- and late August. Watch for a tropical storm threat in mid- to late July. September and October will be warmer and rainier than normal.
