Would love to know weather from Sept 29-OCT 10. First family vacation in 15 years

Sept 29–Oct 10

It should be warm most of the period, with the chance of occasional thunderstorms. Have fun and keep an umbrella handy!

Incorrect predection this year

Please make adjustments to the predictions to account for climate change. The data for the Shreveport area is pretty far off for 2018. It was the coldest winter since 1984, by many accounts and the heat is above average this summer.

adjustments

We do take into account a variety of factors influencing climate change—e.g., ocean temps, Arctic temps, as well as solar activity and other aspects. We aspire to our traditional 80% accuracy rate but in a given week, month, or season, we may not reach it (or we might exceed it). Thanks for your interest in the forecasts!
