drought southwest OK

no rain since sept 2017 very mild winter a few days in jan 2018 and feb 2018 another 3 days of cold then warmed up nicely elm trees starting to turn green with small leaves...we need rain had a little in feb 2018 but not enough to take us off the extreme drought radar... hoping march and april will supply magnum, ok with some rain I bought a mower I want to use it haha fingers crossed for rain M Butler

Where was our share of that 50 inches last year?

I don't know where April lives in Texas, but here in the Texas Hill Country we did not get anywhere near 50 inches of rain last year. We are in a terrible dry spell. Our winter grass is all gone and our hay is almost depleted. Even if we get 4-6 inches of rain right now it will take another month for the grass to revive so our cattle will have something to eat. In the meantime we are looking for hay for our cattle. The water tanks in the pasture that our cattle depend on to get water during the summer are nearly empty so we could have used some of that 50 inches of rain you got last year, April. Even the hurricanes didn't bring us any rain up here. If it were possible it would be nice if somehow the rain could have been shifted a little to the northwest where it was REALLY needed last year. We keep praying for rain so any prayers from the folks on the Texas coast to give us a little respite from this really DRY winter season would be appreciated.

I'm ready for spring and warmer weather

Your prediction were completely wrong for January it was cold and icy with snow try getting into another line of work dog was right on

Not wrong

Too stupid to read a graph are we? They forecasted cold and the graph says so, too.

Farmers Almanac's 80% traditional accuracy

Keep up the good work. Our sun dwarfs the earth, as it is 109 times the diameter of our Earth. It emits sun spots and solar flares in cycles that produce energies of 100 million megaton bombs exploding at once, which the Earth receives this heat within 8 minutes. As we orbit the sun which produces an equivalent energy of 240 trillion hp, as we travel through spring, summer, fall and winter at approximately 66,000 mph, thus causing jet streams in our atmosphere prevailing mainly west to east at wind speed of 150 to 250 mph. Then the thought of man-made global warming and/or controlling the the climate of the Earth, I THINK NOT!!!

Well now... I believe that

Well now... I believe that certainly puts it in perspective; and, to think meteorologists are able to predict weather as well as they do with all those dynamics going on.
