Winter will be not so cold as usual and coldest in December and early January. Precipitation will be below normal. The south and west will see more snow than usual and the north and east, less. It will be snowiest in late November, December, and early and late January. April and May will be warmer than normal, with above-normal precipitation. Summer will be cooler than normal, with precipitation below normal in the north and above normal in the south. The hottest periods will be in mid-June, mid- and late July, and early August.
