American Chop Suey

Yield: 6-8 servings

  • 1 pound ground burger (beef, turkey, venison)
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 ounces pasta noodles
  • 26 ounce jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1-2 cups shredded or cubed cheese (any variety)
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Brown meat in large skillet. Add water and macaroni, bring to a boil and cover until macaroni is cooked. Add spaghetti sauce and cheese. Cover and warm until cheese melts. Season to taste. Ready in about 20 minutes, start to finish.
