My favorite place for seeds

My favorite place for seeds is Heirloom Seeds at http://www.heirloomseeds.com/
It is a pleasure to read the descriptions and histories about their varieties.
I believe that heirlooms have better flavor and more nutritional value than hybrid or genetically modified varieties. You can't do better than Mother Nature!

Jamie, thanks for the

Jamie, thanks for the suggestion. I just got through going to the Heirloom Seeds website and they do have a lot of great specials. Just by browsing I found two packages that I am tempted to buy. The kitchen herb package and the MEDICINAL HERB PACKAGE. Not to mention they are reasonable on their prices. Good luck with your garden this year and be blessed.

I am new to gardening, but I

I am new to gardening, but I like using Burpee Seeds, and Park Seeds. I have also used White Flower Farms.

I purchase all my seeds and

I purchase all my seeds and tomato plants from R.H.Shumways in Randolph, WI. The mail order service is exceptional! The first time I ordered tomato plants I was abit concerned as they were so tiny, but they ended up outdoing the ones I bought locally that were larger. Plus there prices even with shipping end up being the same as locally purchased and I feel the seeds and plants are exceptional. Hope this helps any one looking for quality at reasonable prices. I live in West TN. GOD BLESS!

In Canada we get organic

In Canada we get organic heirloom seeds from the Cottage Gardener http://www.cottagegardener.com/

Thanks for your list! Time to grow.... well not quite as there is still a lot of snow in northern Ontario but we can start some seeds and dream of spring!

A Canadian (wonderful) source

A Canadian (wonderful) source of Herb seeds and plants is Richter's: http://www.richters.com/
Richter's has taken the Safe Seed Pledge, and if you're close to them, they give classes, and they have wonderful databases.

looking for best veggie

looking for best veggie plants/seeds unique to south Louisiana. Example seed for "long horn Okra etc.

It may seem a bit nostalgic,

It may seem a bit nostalgic, but I tend to buy my vegetable seeds from either Burpee or Gurney's and my fruit trees from Stark Brothers. I know I have just a little bias toward these, because I have salivated over their catalogs for the last 40+ years. Now I will be using gardening for mobility therapy! It should be more interesting than just walking a track.

I prefer Totally Tomatoes for all of my tomato seeds. I have always been totally 100% satisfied.

I always buy my seeds at New England Seed www.neseed.com. They are No-GMO and have signed the safe seed pledge. I have been getting their free seed catalog for years and ordering online. They have good customer service and the site is easy to navigate. They also have unique varieties that I can sell at my local farmers market.
