PEAR RECIPE CONTEST
There’s just nothing like the taste of a fresh pear! Juicy and sweet, pears are a versatile fruit perfect for snacking, baking, or salads. Their subtle flavor and crisp texture make them a delightful and refreshing choice year-round.
Send us your favorite recipe using pears. It can be any type of pear (fresh, frozen, canned, etc.) and any type of recipe (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert)—as long as it’s your own! See below for the entry form and additional contest rules.
PRIZES:
- Cash prizes: $250 for first prize, $150 for second prize, and $100 for third prize.
- The three winners will also be published in the 2025 edition of The Old Farmer’s Almanac Garden Guide!
RULES AND TERMS: Amateur cooks only. The recipe must be yours, original, and unpublished in another magazine or book. By submitting your recipe, it becomes the property of The Old Farmer’s Almanac, which reserves rights to the materials.
