Snowbound

The almanac predicted in my region a quiet mild February. Not only did we have our second largest snowfall ever recorded(nearly 30 inches), this month is now on par to be our snowiest Feb ever.

The Amanac has been accurate on many occasions, but it sure had missed this one.

Extreme Weather

The weather were receiving in the Codorus Valley is far cooler in usual, most weather sporadic like usual, with the exception of brisk Northern winds with sub freezing temps, and major transitions of wind and snow over to torrential spring like downpours.
The major conflict in this area are the ocean borne moisture laden weather to the East and the frigid temps moving from the Northwest combining in clashes with the moisture stream moving from the south West.

Forecast off for central PA

We have had plenty of precipitation and cold(not mild) temperatures as predicted for our region!

Your forecast has been all

Your forecast has been all wrong for Northeast Pa. also.

What happened with your forecast for NY State ?

The forecast is all wrong for NY state.

Aw, come on: all wrong? for the whole state??

Could happen but here’s hoping we were right some of the time… reports don’t come in until late March.

snow blowers

every store is sold out of 2stage snow blowers ...Now I have to shovel a 9car length driveway. Nothing like procastinating. Da@$ lt I should have bought the f@#$#$@ snowblower when my last piece of s#$@ died

I think this is a favorable view of the forecast … ?

Just take your time; don’t let the snow get you.

Snow

In Elmira, NY, we got 21 inches just before Christmas, and some of it is still here, all you southern folk feel free to come on up and get all you want!

Asheville weather changes

There is no predicting blizzards especially here in WNC. The forecast for rain caught everyone off guard. Thunder snow is an amazing phenomenon and the rumble was long and loud as the rain changed to snow. '93
