When did Larry Korn (agricultural educator and author) die?


Larry Korn (agricultural educator and author) died on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.

An advocate of natural farming, permaculture, sustainable landscaping, and local food production, Korn earned a Masters degree in soil science from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as studied Asian history and plant nutrition. During his career, he also had worked as a landscape contractor and consultant.

Korn was best known as the author of the English translation of The One Straw Revolution, a book written by Japanese farmer/philosopher Masanobu Fukuoka. Korn also toured with Fukuoka during his visits to the United States.
