2024 Essay Contest

This year’s essay contest is on the subject “The Best Money I Ever Spent.” Got a great story? Send it in and it could win!

• Cash prizes (first, $300; second, $200; third, $100) will be awarded for the best essay in 200 or fewer words.
• Winning essays will also appear in The 2025 Old Farmer’s Almanac and on Almanac.com.

The deadline for entries is Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
