Epic Miss
I guess this is one of those unpredictable years. The cold came late and stayed a while. One reason i like the almanac is that when it predicts an easier winter it makes it hopeful. ( I do not like winter) with everything else going on these days i’m less concerned about the weather anyway Good Try Almanac
COLD??
Oh boy...if this prediction for Calgary Feb 4-10th is only Flurries, Cold, I hate to see what the Prediction for Feb 20-28th snowy/quite cold! I tell you it is FRIGID in Calgary for the last few days with wind chills at minus 40-50 Celcius. I think my freezer is warmer.
I have to side with JJ
Are you happy now Steve?!
Are you happy now Steve?
Ya big JINX! Lol.

Yup... Still waiting for those well below freezing temps along with above average snowfall to kick in...Any day now......
December Weather reports for Wainwright/Provost
Why are these areas not reported on??? Information on tavel through these areas is very important, considering winds & snowfall!!!
Regional coverage
I couldn’t help but notice that while you cover every area around the cities (even though it’s a ‘farmer’s almanac) you have no coverage whatsoever for the east central areas near Wainwright, Provost or Lloydminster. Why is this?
Regional Coverage
Our forecast covers the entire region shown in the map above. The cities listed on the map and named on this page are only there to help readers get their bearings. If we named every city and town in the region, the list wouldn’t fit on the page, but you can search by town or postal code in the search bar above.
Forecast for Calgary
This is a first. It predicts showers and cool for August but we are in a heat wave in Calgary.
Alright.... where's summer?
Red Deer - Not much rain in early spring... but now..... wow, how much rain can fall here? This is getting nuts. June was very cool and rainy. July looks to be the same and August is forecast to be worse!! This has been a brutal two years now.
