Feb 2021

My ole’dad use to get the almanac and used it carefully but wisely. He use to say that the only real weather provider can tell what tomorrow is going to be like and we should just thank him for today no matter what the outcome is. God is in control!
We hear about weather manipulation and cloud seeds and evil forces and controlling patterns. However,
The Lord is my shepherd;I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Amen Hallelujah

Way off the grid with this year’s prediction’s

I have to say there was no mention of extreme weather in Texas last week or my state of Arkansas. We had total of 9” of snow and below zero and not above 20 degrees for almost a solid week. Pipes froze, some areas ran out of water as a result of people letting faucets drip to try and prevent pipes from bursting. Some were without power. I realize it’s not their fault but I’m beginning to think of myself as foolish in believing in what I now feel is voodoo science. Won’t be running to buy the new issue when it comes out in the fall 2021

uhh. the forecast that i read from Farmers Almanac was right on... although its always a general forecast ,covering a large area... i've ALWAYS gotten a close forecast most every year... sometimes the interpretation is in the eye of the beholder... GREAT JOB , YALL !!! from S.E. AR.

See everyone saying this past week was the worst they have seen! In 96 or 97 Louisiana was hit a lot harder with ice/snow storm! Much worse than the past week!

This is pretty much spot on for Tennessee. I guess it depends where you are in the Deep South.

I agree with the other comments!! Yeah, y’all missed the mark on this one!! I am in Baton Rouge Louisiana and we had freezing temperatures, snow and outages for days!! This was the coldest February I’ve experienced in 55 years!

Farmer's Almanac used to be close to the mark. I have farmer friends and they could pretty much always count on the Farmer's Almanac. I don't know how they are getting their info. now?????

Not Magicians

After reading all the snarky comments of people who are disappointed with the incorrect forecast the past week, I must admit they aren't magicians. Predicting a polar vortex split that far ahead is more difficult than my fellow Americans know.

Y’all completely got this wrong. This has been the coldest February’s in decades. Won’t be taking your forecast serious in the future.

I know this isnt an exact science but damn yall are way off bud. Im in Shreveport, Louisiana and its 25 degrees and we jist had 5 inches of snow and sleet. Back to thw drawing board i suppose
