Rainfall will be above normal in the north and near normal in the south, with the best chance for snowfall in mid- and late December across the north. April and May will be warmer and rainier than normal. Summer will be cooler and rainier than normal, with the hottest periods in mid-June, mid-July, and early August. Watch for a hurricane threat in early September. Overall, September and October will be slightly cooler and drier than normal.
