Why did the settlers stop here?

Seriously, after 20+ years in Alberta, I still wonder why the settlers stopped... this place sucks.

Very accurate predictions

We farm by Wembley AB and the Almanac has been pretty spot on so far this winter with both the temperature and precipitation predictions. And historical information shows that they are very good at their job. Keep up the good work Almanac. February 3/20 -26 at the farm. One more cold snap... come on spring.

Canadian Prairies - reply to Travis at Red Deer

Not too warm today. It is -48C this morning and I am a little north of Edmonton. I see Red Deer is -37C. Farmer's Almanac does pretty good considering they do the weather forecast so far in advance. It has been a fairy warm winter up to now and they forecast above normal temperatures for November and December. Now they are forecasting below normal for January - March and it is extremely cold out there today. I enjoy reading the Farmer's Almanac's weather and am amazed at how they can predict so far in advance.

Totally wrong and SCREW the rain!

Red Deer, AB - Looks like you guys are wrong for Jan 2020... forecast is above average temps for a few weeks.

Also, you guys are calling for quite a bit of rain in the 2020 yearly summary. My god, how much more do we need after last year? I was digging post holes in early Oct. and the ground was full of moisture. Hoping for some of that summer '18 weather where it hit over 40 degrees C. That would be awesome.

Snow in Alberta

Does anybody have an opinion on how much snow we will get in December/ end of November??

November - Alberta

Bang on for the period November 15 - 22 - we're getting dumped on today Nov 19th.

November - Alberta

So the annual weather will be a repeat of 2019 is what your predicting. You missed predicting the 4 feet of snow the foothills in the west already had and November is only 7 days old.

Unfortunately they can't

Unfortunately they can't predict what will happen BC of weather manipulation.. I'm in Winnipeg and everyone has been saying it's been like January weather in the middle of October.

Totally inaccurate for Calgary

Oct 27-31 Sunny, mild - nice try, it's snowy and -14C. Your forecasts are an estimated guess that anyone could attempt predicting.

This seems to disagree with the forecast for BC. In that one it says BC will be normal ish while the prairies suffer polar coaster hell. Go figure
