April and May will be warmer than normal, with rainfall below normal in the north and above normal in the south. Summer will be hotter than normal, with the hottest periods in late June and from mid-July into mid-August. Rainfall will be slightly above normal in the north and below normal in the south. Watch for a tropical storm in mid- to late June. September and October will be warmer and drier than normal.
