Weather in Kuna

I live just outside of Meridian and the forecast will have thunderstorms or rain. When it gets close to us, it just fades. Is there something that prevents the rain from reaching us? We call it the Kuna Circle. All the bad weather just surronds is and fades?

wedding 10-10-20

we are getting married on October 10th of this year. ceremony is outside should I be worried about rain and snow?

November 7th Wedding

We are getting married on November 7th. Ceremony is outside and starts at 5. Everything else is inside. What are your weather predictions and do you think it will be light enough for a short 20 minute outdoor ceremony?

Rain

Finally, we are getting some rain, I hope it keeps up throughout the summer. So far the Almanac has been correct with their weather forecasts this month.

Cooler weather is always better.

Hot weather is gross. I'm living for these cooler temperatures. <3

Spokane weather

Im happy to see rain in June. If you remember, that is what keeps the river flowing, water bills cheaper than California, and the landscape lush and beautiful.

Now I understand...

NOW I understand why Washington has such a bad meth problem. This weather SUCKS!!

wedding

me and my fiance are trying to plan our wedding. We want to have a camping weekend with swimming and bonfires at the lake. We are trying to decide between labor day weekend and the weekend of the 19th and 20th. Last year there was a fire ban labor day weekend. So we are thinking the 19th and 20th.

I know it's a risk either way and we can't predict the weather thag far out but have to send out our save the dates. Does anyone have any recommendations?? Or know when the fire season ended last year? I know it's hard to be outdoors and enjoy the lake when the entire sky is grey smoke and we wouldn't be able to have bonfires which is important to my fiance. Any advice would be amazing because I'm nervous to set a date!

Thank you!!<3

Idaho winter

I have lived in Athol, Idaho since June 2013 and the weather forecast can sometimes be quite different than predicted. What is happening here is not what is happening one mile or 15 mile down the road in Hayden or PostFalls. I seem to be living in a micro climate all its own. I find it intriguing that what’s happening at my house and my neighbors down the road so different. I’m in an open area and the snow on the ground seems to last forever. I’ve lived thru two really heavy snow years we’ll into February and now this year into the middle of March. I’ve learned not to put my snow shovels away or remove my snow tires too soon.
The seasons seem to have changed and winter arrives later and moved into spring. The growing season also seems shorter. I take it as it comes and watch the radar as It serves me best, as the weather forecasts can’t serve each individual location.

Snow

Here in mid-east Idaho, I've been snowbound most of February with temps mostly freezing and below. It was 20 below zero on 2-20-20, and I have 18-24 inches of snow on the ground most of this month. Most snow I've seen in maybe the last 15 to 20 years. I love the snow but it has been confining and really cold. I'm sure in July though, I'll remember right now fondly!
