Use vinegar correctly to avoid harmful side effects

Hello, I use household white vinegar in a small bowl in several inconspicuous places around to keep odors away. It works for me. Is this dangerous for our health?
No, it is perfectly safe to use HOUSEHOLD vinegar in this way. Thanks for asking!
I use double strength vinegar to clean up any mess on synthetic wooden high-sheen flooring, but, I have been smelling a terrible (smells terribly Toxic) smell throughout the house when mostly closed up for warmth,
It smells like the Worst metho fumes, from the modern metho that contains that chemical to stop people drinking it, and I have been feeling Very ill when home and exposed to it,
Any info you may have that could shed light on this ? I think it may be the vinegar reacting with the glue/coating on the synthetic floorboards themselves/in the joins/gaps,
Would Really appreciate any informative feedback on,
Also, you've inspired and reminded me to calll the poisons information centre, so Will do,
Thanks for your informative and easy to read article,
Regards, Jo.
I wouldn't heat vinegar in a sauce pan as it could eat away at the pan. I would heat it in a heat-safe glass or Corella bowl in the microwave. This has the additional benefit of loosening baked on food from the microwave. Check the internet for dilution ratios.
I know you can use lemon and salt to clean copper. Can you use vinegar and salt to clean stainless steel?
I’ve left several bowls of vinegar in a detached room of my house for a week now which was polluted by a yet unknown chemical after a botched application of some grout sealer (unless something else was in the bottle?) hoping to rid the room of the fumes which irritate my lungs. The fumes have no smell. Is there any danger to the room, kitchen cabinets, or AC units and plumbing from the extended vinegar use?
I use bowls of white vinegar to freshen and deodorize rooms, is this safe? I do the same with cut squares if lemons in seperate bowls to freshen rooms.

I have wiped down my cheese for the past year with vinegar! No Mold and stay fresh!
Excellent content. Helpful info. Thanks.
