Been a OFA fan for years. It would help if you would define "destroy pests and weeds", VS Mow, VS Pruning. Back in the 90s, you had an article that said plants "will bleed to death". I observed that to be true but I can't remember which of the above I was using.
To “destroy pests and weeds” is to remove them from the ground manually. Many weeds have underground roots. Mowing and pruning is above ground.
