I couldn't be more pleased with the emerald stone or the lily of the valley. I'm glad I was born in May so I can enjoy both.

Can they live in Az climate and if so, when is the best time of year to send/find them available?
lily of the valley
Lily of the Valley is a spring flower that only flowers for 2 to 3 months so it’s a really limited bloom though worth the wait for fans (like us!). It grows in zones 3 to 9, so it really depends where you live in Arizona. Lily of the Valley needs full shade and moist, rich soil that does not dry out. In essence, it’s the opposite of a desert plant! In southern zones, you’d need to get pre-chilled pips in December and January to pot for bloom indoors in bright light. After bloom, plunge pots in ground in cool, shaded area. When dormant, remove plants from pots and plant in garden; or wash soil off pips, place in clearly labeled plastic bags, and store in vegetable bin of refrigerator until time to repot in December or January. We don’t sell plants on our site so you’d need to contact a local or online nursery such as www.Burpee.com.
