How can I get my mock orange bush to bloom?
Answer
If you’ve had trouble with blooms, you must have transplanted the bush in recent years. Mock oranges really hate being moved, but they recover in two or three years. You may just have to be patient. Don’t prune this bush. It’s very happy being left alone, except for taking off the occasional dead branch, or winter thinning if it gets totally out of hand. Otherwise, ignore your bush and you’ll probably have blooms soon!
