Peck and bushel used to be common measurements when I was growing up in rural America. Are they still used?
Answer
Rural feed and grain stores, farm stands, and other specialty businesses still use these measurements. But chain stores and supermarkets most often measure and package produce in pounds, pints, gallons, and the like.
