As Digital Editor of The Old Farmer’s Almanac, Jess is dedicated to bringing readers content that is accurate, clear, useful, and engaging. She has years of experience crafting written communications rooted in knowledge and expertise, specializing in topics spanning science and nature.
Jess has spent much of her career in B2B marketing and comms, simplifying complex subject matter for diverse audiences. Most recently, she was Editor-in-Chief at an agency where she led content strategy across multiple clients, managed a team of writers, and developed systems and workflows to streamline high-volume editorial operations. An avid reader, she has also worked as a book-to-film scout, evaluating pre-publication manuscripts and assessing their adaptation potential for film or television.
Jess has a B.S. in Magazine Journalism and a minor in Philosophy from Boston University. She lives in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire with her family, happily immersed in the natural beauty and abundance of arts and culture that define the community.
