In this modern world of atomic clocks, why don't we split the difference by 30 minutes and set the time at Noon at the Latitude and Longitude of 00 degrees by 00 degrees. Find the average of Noon at that point on the planet, year round and stop changing time...
The idea of using half an hour in the time change has been proposed It would be more convenient.
Ban time altogether.
Keep it as is, although I much perfered when we did it at midnight on the last Saturday in oct. I had a very strict Dad and even at 20 years old it gave me an extra hour out. No idea how exciting this was the end of the world for me once a year ❤️
Let's go all natural
I think we should abolish DST. The fact climate change has caused more heat every summer makes the power saving excuse moot. That hour is one more with the sun still up.
Also the government has decided to mess with my body and my circadian rhythm by making this a law.
I’d rather not suffer forced what amounts to jet lag 2x a year and that is pretty much what is happening.
Amen and as I've aged it's getting harder to adjust.. the fall back suits my circadian rhythm soo much better so I've figured out 1 remedy. In the spring if yall want to lose an hour knock yourselves out but my clock isn't changing...it's called passive resistance. Fortunately i don't work. I guess my military career may have been curtailed if i took this attitude but if 50% of the population did it these idiot law makers would be forced to deal. Maybe now that we Republicans have the house it will finally change to what our bodies prefer. We've got enough contributing to mental illness we don't need sleep depravation as well.
