Do we have a treaty with other countries dealing with space exploration?
Answer
Yes, the United Nations Outer Space Treaty was signed on January 23, 1967. It governs the outer space activities of any nations that may make use of space, the Moon, or other celestial bodies. It asserts that nations have freedom to explore and use space, but can not appropriate it.
