Toss garden tomatoes, basil, kosher salt, ground pepper, olive oil, and oregano leaves. Marinate 30 minutes in bowl, tossing occasionally. Voila!

I have a question about the basil/tomato frittata recipe recently in my email (which sounds delicious!)--when the recipe says eight ounces of cheddar cheese, and 4 of jack cheese, are these weights or 8 oz./4oz. in a standard measuring cup? Appreciate and answer from someone smarter than me!
If you're referring to this recipe: http://www.almanac.com/recipe/fresh-basil-and-tomato-frittata then the answer is 8 oz and 4 oz are weights. Take an 8 oz block of cheddar cheese and grate it. Take a 4 oz block of Monterey Jack cheese and grate it. Hope this helps!
