Every time I plant radish seeds, whether white or red, I always get some sort of bugs eating at the radishes. What can I do to have some nice radishes without the bug holes?
Answer
Of course, you can treat the soil with an insecticide, but we hate to use these on root crops. Try growing radishes at the other end of your garden to trick the bugs. We have grown some awesome radishes in large pots. —Gardening experts George and Becky Lohmiller, Hancock, New Hampshire
