At 750 feet and 52 stories, the Prudential Center (1964) is the second-tallest building in Boston. The tallest is the John Hancock Tower (1976), at 788 feet and 60 stories. New York City’s Empire State Building is 1,224 feet to the 102nd floor tower. Its antennae and lightning rod add another 230 feet, bringing the total to 1,454 feet.
