We have an aluminum kettle with a sunken bottom, so it won’t sit flat on the stove. Can I heat it with a propane torch to flatten it?

You can try heating it, but using a propane torch is pretty drastic. You will most likely damage the kettle. If this is something of value to you, take it to a professional metalworker for repair. If not, buy a new pot!
