Hi, We live on mainland Greece and we were gifted with three seedless white grapevines in pots. We have the ideal place in the sun to plant this three grapevines, but we understand that it is the wrong time of the year. What can we do? Will we be able to keep them in the same small pots until early spring to plant them as you suggest. Please let us know so that we do not loose them. Waiting for your assistance. Kind regards Kaiti.
Hello,
I built a very nice Arbor in my back yard and planted grapes at the base of each of three vertical supports. Unfortunately trees are shading the grapes and limited sun is getting through. Once they grow to the roof of the Arbor they will have ample direct sun, in the meantime they appear to be stunted in growth and just "surviving". Can i use grow lights to assist them in getting to the top and enjoying natural sun? BTW- I'm in Colo Springs, CO. thanks for any help!
The young grapes at the lower end of the cluster are drying and falling off. Not enough water? Temperature to Hot? This vine is four years old with his second year producing fruit. I prune every year and this year has over 50 clusters compared to 17 last year. Comments please! Thank You.
Thank You. I will start planting pollinators.
There were leftover grapes on the vines when we bought this house in northern CO in November of 2013. Last year we had leaves and vines, but no grapes, and this year we have lots of lovely leaves ad vines, but again, no grapes. Any ideas?
