If the week had 10 days, it would make sense. You have 3 10-day weeks.
If there ever was 10 days a week in calendar each year, then I believe the 12 months would look like this:

If Year 1 starts on Day 1 and ends on Day 5 - Year 2 will start on Day 6 and end on Day 10! Then Year 3 starts on Day 1 and ends on Day 5 again! And then Year 4 begins on Day 6 but this time will have the Leap Day February 29 included which will have Year 4 end on Day 1 of a New 10-Day Week!!! :0)
Anyhow, that was all I was wanting to share!!!
Hi there!
If I find out that I have made an error to my own comment(s) after accidentally posting it on this article, is there a way I can re-edit my comment to have it get fixed up?
I wouldn’t want to repeat my same comment over again just to have it up to date … :(
The 10-day decade existed before the Flood (not called a week which is always 7) long before the 7-day week after the Flood. The 7-day week is Sun Moon Mars Mercury Jupiter Venus Saturn which is Sun Moon Tewes Woden Thor Frigg Saturn. The names of the 10 days still exist in Chinese as Woo Ki Kang Sin Jin Kwei Kiah Yih Ping Ting which they claim was Wu Ji Geng Xin Ren Gui Jia Yi Bing Ding. The day 7 of 10 has become 1st day Jia (Kiah), later combined after the Flood with 12-day Rat (Tse or Zi).
Hi there!
1st of all, a week does not always have to be 7 days even though the Lord has done 6 days of work through his creation and rested on the 7th day.
If you want to create your own calendar, you can decide on many days are in a week whether it has fewer or more than 7 days. You can as well decide on how many days are in a month and how many months in a year!!!
2nd of all, a 10-Day decade doesn’t make any sense. If you haven’t learned before, a decade is:
‘1 group of 10 Years’.
A week of 10 days can’t replace the word ‘week’ with ‘decade’. In fact, a 10-Day decade makes me think: a day of 24 hours makes 1 year where as living through my 1st 10 days since I was born says I have lived 10 years of my life even though I was born just 10 days ago. It would be weird to see me as a baby in the middle of my 10th year. 1 full day being 1 complete year is not sounding right and will never make sense.
My idea is: For a 4-Day Week, it could be named ‘a Quateroweek’. For a 5-Day Week, it could be named ‘a Quintoweek’. For a 6-Day Week, it could be named ‘a Sexoweek’. For a 7-Day Week, it could be named ‘a Septoweek’. For an 8-Day Week, it could be named ‘an Octoweek’. For a 9-Day Week, it could be named ‘a Nonaweek’. For a 10-Day Week, it could be named ‘a Deciweek’.
…and so on and so forth depending on how many days you have in a week.
Anyhow, I just wanted to make it clear and hope everyone understands why words such as ‘Decade’ is meaning way more days and WEEKS than just a full week you are referring to in your comment. In case you comment right back to me - see you soon!!!
