Pumpkin French Toast Recipe

A wonderful cross between a French toast and a pumpkin pie.

Yield: 8 pieces serves 3-4 people

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Start to Finish Time: 20 minutes

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar
  • 1/4 cup crushed walnuts

Cut French bread on the diagonal about 1 inch thick. Mix all the rest of the ingredients together. Dip French toast into the mixture on both sides and grill as you would French toast. Serve with a dusting of confectioner's sugar and syrup.
