Does Canada change clocks on the same day as the United States?
Some parts of Canada still change their clocks on the same schedule as the United States. However, provinces and territories set their own time rules, and several of them stopped changing clocks in 2026.
British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and the Northwest Territories will not turn their clocks back on November 1, 2026. Yukon and Saskatchewan also use one time year-round.
Other parts of Canada, including most of Ontario and Quebec and the Atlantic provinces, continue to observe seasonal time changes.

In Fori-duh, the Govnah wants to keep the daylight coming. He's proposed a bill to change the time to be always 1 hour ahead, keeping it lighter all year round. Unfortunately, I live here.
Nothing like coming home after work in the pitch black at 5:00 pm.
Or in my case go to work when it’s dark and come home when it’s dark for 5 months and it’s go to work when it’s bright and go to bed when it’s bright for 7 months. Nope I am not in Alaska, I’m in Nebraska!
I also do not like getting home from work and the gym in the dark!
I live on the Gulf Coast, near New Orleans, and I don't like the extended light in the evenings, especially in May, June, July, and August. I like to cook supper in the last hour or 90 minutes of daylight, and sunset in June is at 8:05 pm, with light until almost 8:30 pm. I don't like being in the kitchen at 6 pm, 2 to 2 1/2 hours before dark. 6 pm would be a good time to cook dinner, without DST, when sunset would be a civilized 7:30 pm.
At the same time (no pun intended), on June 21st, the sun rises at 5:30 am. Without DST, the sun would rise at 4:30 am! I have to yell at the dog as it is, to tell him that it's not time to wake up, just because the room is lighter.
I'd really like to end DST for good because it is an artificial adjustment to what we call each our of the day, and it disguises the natural changes of the day that occur throughout the year.
Get rid of the time and clocks altogether. All clocks and watches must be thrown in the ocean. Just wake up and sleep whenever you feel to. After all, John Lennon once said,
Imagine there's no time
It's easy if you try
No clocks below us
Or above us, only sky
Imagine all the people
Livin' for today
Aha haa..
Imagine there's no clocks
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to adjust or worry about
And no DST-bs, too
Imagine all the people
Livin' life in peace
You hoo ooh
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
DST is really stupid. You have X hours of daylight no matter when you start the clock running.
Excellent observation :)
