Question: I have three apple trees that give good fruit. I spray them early spring one time only. Is it necessary to spray them twice a year?
Answer: If you are satisfied with yield and appearance of the fruit you harvest, you don’t need to increase your spray schedule. The Extension office in your area will have recent information on any pests or diseases that are causing problems for growers. You might want to give them a call if you notice anything unusual or begin to experience lower yields.
