What is the distance between the US flag and another flag displayed on the same pole?
how is the flag folded
When putting up flags in front of a building, should you be looking out from the building or at the building with flags between you and the building to put the correct flags to the left & right of the US flag?
I find the worshipful adoration of a flag to be idolatrous. Everyone forgets that the flag is not merely collectively ours but also personally ours. If I buy or make a flag it is my property and I will do with it as I wish regardless of whether it offends anyone else or not. The 1st Amendment was made PRECISELY to make that fact clear. I am not free by anyone else's consent, I am free by birth by the laws "of Nature and Nature's God". Securing that freedom is another issue, but no one but God gave me my freedom. If traitors and enemies of the Constitution are allowed to fly the Rebel flag, then I'll fly MY American flag any way I dang well please.
We are Veterans living in Veterans housing. One of our fellow Veterans living in our Complex just passed away. We wanted to lower flag half mass . The flag is outside on property. The debate came up as to can we lower the flag in honor of our fallen Veteran. I said yes I don't care if they want to charge me so be it. What is your opinon.
Hi, Robert: Thank you for your service and very sorry about your loss. Usually only the President and several other officials can declare half-staff; otherwise, there could be thousands or millions of flags always at half-staff for different reasons. Whether you flew it at half-staff or not, we're sure that just your kindhearted thinking is an honor that would have been much treasured by the deceased. Thanks for asking!

Hi, Barb: A torn flag should be mended or propertly retired. Thanks for asking!
