How to Properly Display the American Flag

Hi, Tim: What, did you stay up all night trying to come up with this? :) There are a number of ways to approach this, but we would put the two state flags at the outside ends of the 14-flag display, considering the Old Glories to be the stars at center stage and the Staties to be secondary players out by the wings. Thanks for asking—now get some rest!
Hi, Barbara: We're sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, it is just not proper to embroider or otherwise alter a flag. You might consider a triangular case or a flat glass frame with a little engraved plaque on it. Or, the same (or some sort of nice little sign/label, maybe framed itself) could also be placed on the wall next to the unframed flag directly mounted on the wall. Thanks for asking!
