Does Canada change clocks on the same day as the United States?
Some parts of Canada still change their clocks on the same schedule as the United States. However, provinces and territories set their own time rules, and several of them stopped changing clocks in 2026.
British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and the Northwest Territories will not turn their clocks back on November 1, 2026. Yukon and Saskatchewan also use one time year-round.
Other parts of Canada, including most of Ontario and Quebec and the Atlantic provinces, continue to observe seasonal time changes.

Just stop the time change flip flop. I don't care if we stay on daylight savings, or standard time, I just want it to stop changing.
I love DST and always welcome it. I am sad when it ends. I will take all the "light" I can get.
It seems to be an unpopular opinion, but I wholeheartedly agree with you!

sun straight up noon don't screw up sun time its be there forever
Exactly!
Northern states in the USA especially in the East would be better off keeping Standard Time all year long rather than Daylight Saving Time. Sunrises in the late fall & early winter would occur at 7:30 & even later. School children would be forced to travel to school in the colder weather in the dark which is not a safe option especially if roadways are icy.
This comment makes a lot of sense to me, a lifelong Southerner who has always taken DST for granted. But maybe you folks in the north should be treated differently than the folks in the South ! IDK how that could be done on the Federal level but it should be looked into….
Where I live, they left the time on Daylight Saving time one winter. I would go to the bus stop in pitch black. Needless to say, that experiment was ended the following fall. Parents were up in arms over their children having to go to school in the dark. If the time change is done away with, we need to leave Standard Time as the only time!
