Does Canada change clocks on the same day as the United States?
Some parts of Canada still change their clocks on the same schedule as the United States. However, provinces and territories set their own time rules, and several of them stopped changing clocks in 2026.

One hour change twice a year. Big deal. After working swing shift for 20 years means nothing to me. Personally, people are gonna whine as now the sun will set at just after 8pm not 9pm. Sun up at 5am instead of 6am in summer months if your dont change. Me I much prefer DST, look forward to it. Love the extra hour of light in the summer evenings for yard work, cook outs, relaxing. Adjust your bed time yourself for twice a year. I can see the farmers plight, their up at the crack of dawn to start their busy day, morning hour makes a difference. Suburban dwellers no way. Hope they enjoy the loss of evening daylight in summer months. Get home at 5 in three hours it dark.
Exactly! It's no big deal. Most people look at their phones or smartwatch. Or whatever electronic device they have for the time. They don't have to change the time one hour forward and 1 hour back. Plus the fact that sun is still going to set later and rise earlier in the spring and summer and set earlier and rise later in fall and winter no matter what. In fact that is exactly what happens in Arizona regardless of them no longer springing forward and falling back. I see no point in living in denial.
The day someone invents clocks that automatically change time to adjust for daylight saving time I will be happy....... otherwise I can do without it. So what if it gets dark earlier. Get up earlier etc etc
Your electronic devices make the change for you!!!! I don't know why any of you are acting like you actually do it yourselves!!! Stop blaming something that happens regardless of changing the time for reason for car accidents and health issues and all things that you want to blame changing time for!! Those things happen because of the imperfect world that we live in! If you don't want to get in a car accident, pay attention and check your mirrors. Get up when your alarm clock goes off rather than hitting snooze. Crimes happen at all hours of the day. It's got nothing to do with springing forward or falling back. Take responsibility for your actions.
You seem very angry maybe you need an extra hour of sleep!
No matter how you slice it there is still
525,600 min in a year. So it really doesn’t matter does it !!!!!!!
I doesn't matter much to me. I don't mind the change twice a year. Or if we go with one or the other. If we keep daylight savings time all year round, it will be dark till almost 8 a.m. in the winter. If we keep standard time, it will get dark around 8 instead of 9 p.m., and it will get light at 4 or 5 in the morning in summer. Just realize it is one or the other; not both.
I hate every second of daylight saving time. It was brought about for those playing golf and sports. It makes the evenings so long even though they are long enough. The year they tried daylight saving time all year was a nightmare. When are people going to smarten up and realize standard time is best.
Did you even read the article you are commenting on? It was not ‘bought about for those playing golf or sports’ LOL. 🤦♀️
Get rid of daylight savings time!
