Does Canada change clocks on the same day as the United States?
Some parts of Canada still change their clocks on the same schedule as the United States. However, provinces and territories set their own time rules, and several of them stopped changing clocks in 2026.
British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and the Northwest Territories will not turn their clocks back on November 1, 2026. Yukon and Saskatchewan also use one time year-round.

Greenwich Mean Time!?!? You're confusing everyone even more lol!!
I really dislike the time change. DST or Standard, just PICK ONE and stick with it year round!
No more DST! It helps no one, it’s unhealthy. Keep Standard Time year round.
I've - never - liked DST. I think it artificially extends daylight in the summer. We don't need DST in current times, it doesn't save energy. Go back to Standard time , one time ALL year round.
There is talk of going on DST year-round. I guess that would be better than the crazy switching back and forth, but as not as good
or practical as leaving it Standard time all year.
Changing the clocks is of no advantage to anyone. It's been noted that there are more health issues with the time change. We have enough adjustments to make in our lives now-a-days; why add to it?
I’d prefer Daylight Saving Time come to an end. The farmer and his animals don’t want or need it. The medical community knows there are more health issues surrounding the time changes. I fail to see the savings in fuel costs ……lights on are lights on whether it be morning or evening. Go to standard time and be done.
I do not like the daylight savings time and I really dislike the changing of our clocks twice a year. Go to standard time and leave it alone
i dont like daylight savings time. when we set the clocks back in november , that is our original time and should be kept that way . no more changing of time. no more going to bed in sunshine . the farmers dont need it. they have enough lights on their tractors to light up a football field. so leave the clocks alone. set it back in november and leave it alone .
I don't care which one we keep, but it's just not necessary to change the clocks anymore!
I prefer Eastern Standard Time. Earlier Spring and summer sunrise, evening is also earlier and welcome. The night sky can't come soon enough.😎
