Time changes are not good. It disrupts our routine. They need to change it back to standard time and leave it be. It should have never been changed in the first place. It was a terrible idea.
let just get rid of time altogether throw your clocks out the window
Such an absurd idea! Please, tell us what would be accomplished by that...besides no longer knowing when a business was open and closed and when you should be somewhere and expect to be able to rely on a business or another person to also be there so that you could be more or less assured to meet up at approx. the same time in order to get business done and move forward in your hours after wakefulness ? How would you know when to go catch a service such as commuting if there was no time, because without time there could not be a schedule? What about taking medications, some of which to work correctly, need to be taken at specific intervals and others which can't be taken too soon after a previous dose or a person could OD, and other things that are done and or rely on a schedule? Heck...even the Indians used the hours of sunlight to know what time it was, in order to utilize the h9urs of daylight as efficiently as possible!
You spent way too much time responding an obviously sarcastic remark...
DST first came to fruition in 1907 in Thunderbay, Ontario, Canada
Go to standard time and leave it, daylight savings is so senseless and useless.
Changing time is really no reason
TIme changes are not good for anyone. It disrupts our lives and messes with sleeping patterns. I really hate it when it is pitch dark by 5pm! Seems dangerous to me. Please stop this absurdity.
I think we should split the difference. In other words, in the Spring, go forward 30 minutes, and then leave it there forever. Yes, we will be 30 minutes different from many other countries but this precedent has already been set by at least 7 other countries. The rest of the world can just get over it.
I think we should never change the clocks again. Do away with DST.
