Specialty varieties of peace lilies are not very easy to come by in most garden centers, though they have been growing in popularity. You may have more success ordering them from an online source.
- Spathiphyllum wallisii is a smaller peace lily, reaching only 12 inches tall.
- ‘Petite’ is smaller still, at approximately 8–10 inches.
- ‘Sensation’ is the largest variety available, capable of growing up to 4–6 feet in height and width.
- ‘Domino’, is a medium-sized variety with attractively variegated leaves.
- ‘Mojo Lime’, which has lime-green foliage, is another medium-sized peace lily.

Hi Brutus,
The clusters are "crowns" of two or more leaves growing separate from the main plant or “hub.” You can leave the plant in the big pot and do nothing or you can remove it from the pot and brush away the soil from the roots to see where the crowns attach to the hub. Then carefully pry apart the roots that belong to the crowns and plant them in small pots using the same soil that they were in.
The lily needs light to bloom. Don't put it under your desk.
Hi Belinda,
Leaves turn pale if the plant gets too much light. If this is the case move the plant away from direct sunlight. Leaves can also turn yellow because the plant either doesn't have uniform watering and dries out too much between waterings or the plant has wet "feet" and sits in damp soil for long periods.
Spring is a good time to repot the peace lily. If you can easily separate the lily into 2 or 3 plants this is a good time to do it. Check the roots for root rot and cut off any brown or mushy roots. Replant in pots with fresh soil. And don't put mayo on the leaves. Good luck!

Brown spots is a sign of aging. Once the flower gets brown spots, it is time to remove it.
