Specialty varieties of peace lilies are not very easy to come by in most garden centers, though they have been growing in popularity. You may have more success ordering them from an online source.
- Spathiphyllum wallisii is a smaller peace lily, reaching only 12 inches tall.
- ‘Petite’ is smaller still, at approximately 8–10 inches.
- ‘Sensation’ is the largest variety available, capable of growing up to 4–6 feet in height and width.
- ‘Domino’, is a medium-sized variety with attractively variegated leaves.
- ‘Mojo Lime’, which has lime-green foliage, is another medium-sized peace lily.

It sounds like your plant will be fine. It's OK to prune out any dead, brown leaves or faded, brown flowers and stalks. Cut brown leaves at the point just above the base of the leaf stalk. If just the leaf edges are browning, you can trim the brown areas off, without cutting into the green area. Cut flower stalks just above the base of the stalk. Repotting (done every year or two) may delay flowering a bit, as the plant adjusts. Be sure it has enough bright indirect light (but not too much), and the proper amount of water.
We agree that you shoudl repot using preferably the next size larger pot. It's fine to repot without killing the plant though it could affect the current bloom. Just loosen the roots slightly. Make sure you repot so the plant is set at the same level as it was before. Water well.
