This simple recipe for Autumn Chutney uses pantry staples you likely have on hand. Serve it over warm turkey or ham.

Ingredients
3 large firm apples
1 large onion
3/4 cup raisins (can use golden raisins)
1 cup apple juice or cider
1/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2/3 cup balsamic vinegar
Instructions

Dice apples and onion. Combine all ingredients in an enameled cast-iron pot. Simmer until thick, about two to three hours.
