Can a mobile home park owner make you take down your flag pole because "it is showing signs of wear and tear"?
I have a neighbor who refuses to replace his flag. It is torn and shredded and is been like that for years. He is ex army which makes all the more frustrating
our American flag is on a standard but too tall to stand on the stage so it must sit on the main floor with the audience. I believe it should be to the right of the audience facing it. Is that correct?
If facing the flag it, sould be to the left. if your back is to the flag it sould always be to the right
During the 1940s, was it customary for the American flag to not be flown when the president was not in residence at the White House? (I am aware that now it flies 24/7, regardless.)
Hi, K: This would require some historical research, but we would guess "no." As you may know, this suspicion can be traced to the UK's practice of flying the Union Jack at Buckingham Palace only when the royals are in residence. Also, if you stop to think about it, you realize that flying Old Glory only when the president was in residence would actually have been a security risk. Thanks for asking!
I have to repair out US flag and it will be a while do I also have to take down the state flag when I have the US flag down
