How to Properly Display the American Flag

We have a vertical pole also containing a 45 degree yardarm about 2/3s up to pole. Some members state the American flag may by flown on the yardarm under the yacht club burgee at the pole's top, that is the yacht club burgee flies above the American flag. We have had several conversations on this subject. I believe the American flag should be at the top on the pole. Your comments please.
I want to fly my old Unit,( 173rd Abn) and my Purple Heart Flags, Under, Old Glory. My question, can the Unit & P.H. be the same zise as Old Glory, 3ft x 5ft? And is the Purple Heart above the Unit flag? Thank You.
Can there be other colors or stripes run through the flag such as blue green red etc
Wasn't there a law that said a flag was only to be burned when it was wore out and raggy?
The US flag was directed to be flown at half-mast May 15, 2019 in observance of National Peace Officers Day/Week. I won't say where, but yesterday I observed a US flag at half-mast and on a separate flag pole, next to it, the state flag was fully raised. I know that US Navy ships at sea can fly the church pennant above the US flag while chaplains conduct services. Other than for this occasion, I thought no flag/pennant is supposed to be flown above the US flag? Shouldn't the state flag I saw have been flown at half-mast, or lower, so it was not positioned above/higher than the US flag? Thank you for the clarification on this.
When should we have raised the flag after President Trump's proclamation for Peace Officers Memorial Day? At Sunset on the 15th or in the morning on the 16th?
