How to Properly Display the American Flag

They must be separate.
I found a flag wadded up on a thrift store shelf. I was disgusted and bought it. It has a ship name stamped on it, and the end is worn as though it actually flew on the ship. Is it appropriate to fold and display it in a case? My cousin was in the Navy and she will never receive a family member's flag. I would love to place it into her posession, if it can be done appropriately and respectfully. Can you help me? Thank you
This time of year I notice lots of use of the image of the American Flag as a holiday theme for just about everything--painted on wood, tables, dishes, knick knacks, and even on clothing. Is it proper to use the American Flag likeness in this way?
Didn't your page JUST say : "The flag should never be used for any advertising purpose, nor embroidered on cushions or handkerchiefs, printed on paper napkins or boxes, nor used as any portion of a costume."
Are you allowed t flag the American Flag alongside the Marine Fag? As long as the American Flag is higher
I recently asked the same question. I have an American flag and my U.S.M.C. flag on separate staffs over my garage. As i stand on the street, facing the house/garage my American flag is furthest to the left. U.S.M.C. Colors to the right.

Dear Sir or Madame...
I am in the process of hanging my new beautiful American flag in my fourth grade classroom. I would like to hang my state flag of Missouri directly next to it. What is the proper etiquette when doing this. My American flag is hanging vertically so how would I display my state flag? Thanks for your help... Joyce Noah
