Smoothies are a great, healthy way to start your day or a simple snack. You can use fresh or frozen fruits. Those fruits that are just a little too ripe to enjoy are perfect to chop up and freeze so that they don’t go to waste. If you want to add some protein to your diet, you can add a protein powder or silken tofu to the mix.

Pineapple & yogurt smoothie
Normally use canned pineapple, crushed, in it's own juice. Often I put pineapple in a container & freeze first. Then into blender I add plain or vanilla yogurt, about 1/2 cup orange juice & a bit of vanilla with pineapple & blend until smooth. If not sweet enough add some honey.
Coconut water or milk can be added. This smoothie has a great tropical flavor!
We're not big fans of bananas but one could be added if you'd like. Enjoy!
Chocolate Cherry Smoothie
Put frozen cherries a little over 1/3 of the glass full. Add stevia, cocoa powder and greens. Then fill the glass not quite to the top with soy milk and use whatever method of blending you use. Excellent!
