Cheese Wafers

Ingredients

1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese, grated 4 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Cream cheese thoroughly with butter and add the flour. Add seasonings and form into a roll one inch in diameter. Wrap the roll in wax paper and chill thoroughly. To bake, cut the roll in slices ⅛ inch thick. Bake in a 475 degrees F oven for 8 minutes or until golden brown.

Yield: 

Makes 4 dozen wafers.

In this recipe it did not

In this recipe it did not specify what kind of flour to use, self rising or all purpose. It didn't have baking powder in it so I assumed you use self rising flour. Is that what you use?
