Cranberry Dream Pie

Recipe for Cranberry Dream Pie

Ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups (a 16-ounce can) whole berry cranberry sauce
chocolate crust (see below)

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in heavy cream and sugar. Blend in vanilla. By hand, stir in the cranberry sauce. Pour into prepared pie shell and freeze.

Let thaw for 15 to 30 minutes before serving.

CRUST

Yield: 

Makes 8 to 10 servings.

I Love this pie!! I use to make this pie for Christmas years ago. It was so yummy! My family loved it! But I misplaced the recipe and couldn't remember all the ingredients. I'm so happy I found it again! Thank you!

Why does it have to be frozen? Can’t find t be stor d in the refrigerator?

I LOVE the idea of this pie

I LOVE the idea of this pie but I made it and it froze for over a day and still came out like slop. It's not nearly stiff at all in the shape of a pie slice. And I tested my freezer it works! Any idea where I went wrong? Also it tastes great still!

Did you only thaw the pie for 15 to 30 minutes before serving? It certainly should not be slop! Glad to hear it tasted good!
