Try this versatile Pineapple-Ginger Topping on waffles, pancakes, ice cream, cheesecake, and anything else you want to spice up. This simple topping takes no time to come together and adds a sophisticated flavor to everyday dishes.

2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
2-1/2 cups fresh pineapple, chopped medium
2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Melt butter in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Add maple syrup and pineapple. Stir, then add ginger and cinnamon. Heat until bubbling, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
